The Himalayan Times reported on 7 September that five of 15 water samples from Bidur holding centres tested positive for E. coli. The district health office said the affected sources were treated and advised drinking purified water. This updates the earlier water-risk advice; it does not confirm cholera or that every source is now safe. Continue water treatment and hygiene precautions.

TransportRelief Work Underway
Gorkhapatra's report dated 5 September, citing NDRRMA, says food and other relief supplies had been sent from Kathmandu using 80 trucks, 38 Bolero vehicles and nine helicopter flights. These are cumulative transport figures, replacing the earlier 37-truck update, not extra vehicles to add to it. They do not describe vehicles available for public booking or a public pickup point.
