About this service

The Kathmandu Post's 8 September report says China's two donated Bailey bridges are each 100 metres long. Their materials weigh about 320 tonnes in total and need 17 trucks. Nepal has sent a team to collect them, and China has sent two technicians. Transport, site preparation and installation remain in progress; this is not confirmation that either bridge is installed or open.
