Overview
WHO's 9 September 2026 update says health teams were reporting illness each day after the floods. Teams checked a rise in fever-with-rash reports on 4 September in Bidur. They did not find an outbreak of a common fever-and-rash illness in that investigation. Health advice, prevention and monitoring continued. This is not an all-clear for other diseases or places. It gives no new daily case totals. The earlier HEOC counts were for 6 September, not today. The WHO page gives a date, but no publication time.

Teams should use gloves, masks, boots and eye protection. Burial sites should be on high, dry ground away from drinking water, homes, schools and public places.
